I actually started my real estate course when I was 18 years old. And at that time it was it was three modules that you had to do. The first one being a sales representative. I actually never completed the course. I thought people wouldn't take me seriously as an 18 year old in the industry selling one of your largest investments.
It just wasn't the time, fast forward 12 years. One of my mom's old boyfriends at the time had been in real estate and he'd been selling for, I think at that time maybe 25 years. And he said to Dallas, why don't you consider real estate as an option?
So I made the switch from my previous sales career into into real estate. And I got in at a really good time before the market blew up. And I haven't looked back since.
